Mother Ministry

Preparing the Lord’s Table and covering the women of the church with wisdom and care.

Our Purpose

Welcome in

The Mothers of New Jerusalem gather on the First Saturday of each month, and on every First Sunday they serve in prayer and lovingly prepare the emblems for the Lord’s Supper, adorned in white or off-white as a sign of purity and reverence. Beyond the Table, they are a steady source of counsel, comfort and prayer for the women of our church. This ministry is made up of the wives of our ministers and deacons, our Pastor’s Wife, and others as the Pastor assigns.

What we do

  • Meet the First Saturday of each month at 11:00 AM
  • Serve every First Sunday: praying and preparing the Lord’s Supper emblems
  • Dress in white or off-white on every First Sunday
  • Offer wise counsel and care to the women of the church
  • Pray for and encourage our families
  • Serve wherever the Pastor assigns
